Proxy per app

Send only the apps you choose through the VPN and keep the rest of your data to yourself.

Why use it

A normal VPN sends every app on your phone through the tunnel. That costs you twice: background updates, video apps and games spend your data for nothing, and every app gets a little slower because its traffic takes a longer route.

Most of the time it is not even needed. Internet providers do not block everything. They restrict some apps and sites, and the rest work fine on a normal connection. With Proxy per app, only the apps you pick use the VPN. Everything else goes out on your normal connection, directly and at full speed.

• Your free data lasts much longer.
• Apps that are not blocked stay fast, because they skip the VPN and its extra delay.
• Apps that do not work well over a VPN keep working normally.

Choose your apps

1. On the home screen, tap the Select App card.
2. Tap each app that should use the VPN. A green shield marks every selected app.
3. Tap Save. Tap Discard to leave without changing anything.

Back on the home screen, the Select App card shows how many apps are selected.
