Advanced settings

Flame X runs on sing-box, so you can tune DNS, TUN and routing to match your network.

Open Settings

Tap the gear icon at the top right of the home screen.

The default configuration

DNS, TUN parameters and Routing policy start as Using subscription configuration. That works for most people and needs no changes. Change them only when you know what you want, for example to route one domain directly or to use a different DNS.

Keep the VPN running in the background

Open Background and Startup and turn off battery optimization for Flame X. Some phones close background apps to save power, which would disconnect the VPN.
